Swiggy rolls out new features to offer quick food delivery on trains

Swiggy has announced a new feature - the Food on Train service. During the festive season, train travellers can choose from more than 5,000 dishes and have them delivered to their seats across over 115 stations.

The food app has also introduced Easy Eats that is designed to guarantee a hassle-free train-dining experience. The Easy Eats menu has been curated to provide convenient, on-the-go meals. From Healthy Nibbles like salads to Fun Munchies such as fries and nachos, these meals come in neat, convenient packaging with a complete cutlery kit, ensuring that eating on the train is as easy as it is enjoyable.

These features add smarter and more personalised meal options aimed at providing train travellers with delicious, convenient meals during their journeys.

In response to increasing demand, especially during festive seasons like Navratri, Swiggy has also launched a dedicated Pure Veg section. This ensures that vegetarian travellers, whether they are fasting or simply prefer plant-based meals, have easy access to trusted 100% vegetarian dishes.
