AMD has launched the EPYC 4005 Series processors, designed for small and medium businesses as well as hosted IT service providers. These processors offer enterprise-class features and high performance to support a range of applications, from enterprise systems to virtualized environments and cloud-hosted services.
The EPYC 4005 Series utilizes the same AM5 socket as the EPYC 4004 Series, ensuring compatibility with various form factors, including servers, blades, and towers. Notably, the EPYC 4565P 16-core processor outperforms the 6th generation Intel Xeon 6300P by 1.83x in Phoronix testing, showcasing its leadership in efficiency and performance. This launch provides businesses with a powerful, efficient, and scalable solution for their growing IT needs.
