Students who applied for mark verification, answer-sheet photocopies, or re-evaluation can now access updated results online, with CBSE confirming that nearly 87 per cent of applications have been processed and published.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the release of Class 12 post-result review outcomes, enabling students who sought verification of marks or re-evaluation of answer sheets to access their revised results online.
According to the board, results for approximately 87 per cent of applicants have already been published and are available through the DigiLocker platform. The release covers students who applied for verification of marks, requested photocopies of their evaluated answer books, or subsequently opted for re-evaluation.
The board stated that the publication of results is being carried out in phases, with the remaining applications currently under review and expected to be completed shortly.
Transparent review process
CBSE said it followed a structured and closely monitored process while handling the large number of requests received after the declaration of the Class 12 board examination results. The board emphasized that all applications were examined under established guidelines designed to ensure accuracy, fairness, and consistency.
The review mechanism includes multiple stages, allowing students to first seek verification of marks, obtain copies of evaluated answer sheets, and then apply for re-evaluation if required. Through this process, CBSE aims to provide students with an opportunity to address concerns related to their scores while maintaining confidence in the examination system.
Officials noted that strict quality checks and evaluation protocols were implemented throughout the exercise to ensure transparency and minimize the possibility of errors.
Students advised to rely on official sources
As the results continue to be released, CBSE has urged students and parents to depend only on official communication channels for information regarding the review process. The board cautioned against relying on rumours or unverified claims circulating on social media platforms.
Students have been advised to regularly monitor the official CBSE website and DigiLocker portal for updates related to pending applications and further instructions. Those who have not yet received their revised results need not be concerned, as the board has clarified that remaining cases are still being processed and will be announced in due course.
The latest release marks another step in CBSE’s efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in its examination and assessment framework while providing students with a fair avenue for redressal.
