In a significant step toward ethical and secure artificial intelligence deployment, the Indian government will launch four Responsible AI (RAI) tools under the “Safe and Trusted AI” pillar of the IndiaAI Mission between September and December 2025. These tools will be made available on the official AIKosha portal, and are designed to ensure AI systems in India are developed and deployed with fairness, accountability, and transparency at their core.

Additionally, 30 AI projects selected under the Application Development Initiative of IndiaAI will enter their trial phase soon.
