Radware integrates Platforms with Cisco ACI
2015-03-12
Radware has announced integration of its Alteon and DefensePro platforms into Cisco's Application-Centric Infrastructure (ACI) fabric. Integrating Radware's platforms with Cisco's ACI will enable IT managers to gain greater value from their Cisco ACI deployment through automated tenant-based application delivery and security services. The integration will particularly benefit large enterprises, hosting service providers and ISPs with faster provisioning, automation and monitoring of applications.
Cisco's ACI is a holistic architecture with centralized automation and policy-driven application profiles. It helps in strengthening the acuteness of the data center without undermining the application SLAs and performance.
Nikhil Taneja, Country Manager, India-SAARC, Radware, said, "Radware's solutions have always helped customers with increased productivity by ensuring 24/7 service availability to customer's applications and sites. Advanced features such as mitigation against emerging network attacks in real time have enabled customers to protect against attacks before it affects business operations. Integrating Radware's platforms with Cisco's ACI will further benefit large enterprises, hosting service providers and ISPs with faster provisioning, automation and monitoring of applications."
With the integration of the Alteon and DefensePro platforms into Cisco's ACI, Cisco will allow Radware's clients to use the Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) to manage their applications individually from remote locations.
