Cybersecurity firm Rubrik has launched Rubrik Agent Cloud, a new platform designed to help organizations adopt AI agents safely and efficiently while maintaining visibility, control, and auditability.
The company said the product addresses one of the biggest challenges in enterprise AI transformation: balancing innovation with the risks posed by agentic AI systems including hallucinations, unauthorized actions, and potential misuse by threat actors.
Built on the Rubrik Security Cloud, the new platform allows businesses to monitor and govern AI agents across cloud and enterprise environments. It provides real-time auditing, policy enforcement, and rollback capabilities to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance as organizations integrate agent-based automation into their operations.
“IT and security leaders often don’t know what their AI agents are doing or how to undo their mistakes,” said Bipul Sinha, CEO, Chairman, and Co-founder of Rubrik. “AI agents have the potential to cause ten times the damage in one-tenth of the time. With Rubrik Agent Cloud, we’re giving enterprises the visibility, governance, and control they need to deploy AI agents with peace of mind.”
Rubrik Agent Cloud provides end-to-end agent lifecycle management, including discovery, observability, governance, and remediation. The platform can automatically detect AI agents built on tools such as OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Amazon Bedrock, tracking their activity and data access across cloud and SaaS environments. It also maintains immutable audit trails that link agent behavior to data, identity, and application contexts.
A core component of the system, Agent Rewind, allows organizations to reverse unintended or destructive AI actions instantly, preventing data loss and ensuring continuous protection of critical systems. The feature integrates with Rubrik’s existing security framework to provide precise rollback and recovery capabilities, giving IT teams a fail-safe against AI misconfigurations or malicious behavior.
With the rise of autonomous and semi-autonomous AI systems in enterprise environments, Rubrik’s latest offering reflects a growing need for AI operations security a new frontier combining data resilience, access control, and real-time observability.
Rubrik Agent Cloud is currently available through limited early access for select customers, with a broader rollout planned in the coming months.
“AI transformation is no longer optional, but it cannot come at the cost of security or trust,” Sinha said. “We’re helping enterprises build the guardrails they need to harness the full potential of agentic AI responsibly.”
