Digital certificate and security solutions provider Sectigo has announced a major expansion of its operations in India, positioning the country as a key market for growth amid rising demand for digital trust infrastructure.
The announcement follows the visit of Sectigo CEO Kevin Weiss to India and the unveiling of a new strategic partnership with Indusface, a homegrown cybersecurity company known for its application security SaaS offerings. Under the partnership, Indusface customers will gain access to Sectigo’s Certificate Manager (SCM), aimed at streamlining certificate lifecycle management (CLM) in preparation for evolving security standards, including shorter SSL/TLS certificate lifespans and the move toward post-quantum cryptography.
Summit to spotlight crypto agility and digital trust
As part of its regional push, Sectigo will host its first India-focused event, Countdown to 47 Days Summit, in Mumbai on November 7. Co-hosted with Indusface, the summit will bring together over 100 industry stakeholders to explore trends in digital trust, crypto agility, and automation in certificate management.
“India’s digital transformation is fueling a need for scalable and future-ready security solutions,” said Nandini Tandon, co-founder of Indusface. “Our collaboration with Sectigo will enable enterprises to navigate upcoming cybersecurity shifts with greater confidence.”
Sectigo’s regional efforts have accelerated since it opened a Center of Excellence in Chennai in 2024. The company has since expanded its APAC leadership team and grown its India workforce by 33%.
Sarabjeet Khurana, recently appointed Country Manager for India and ASEAN, added, “Our local partnerships and community engagement are key to helping businesses build resilient digital trust frameworks ahead of new compliance demands.”
Sectigo is also leading industry discussions on quantum readiness and certificate lifecycle changes, including its recent advocacy for a global shift to 47-day certificates and its release of guidance materials like the 47-Day Survival Guide.
