Varonis Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNS) today announced the launch of its AI Identity Protection for Salesforce Agentforce, empowering IT and security teams to gain visibility and control over how AI agents interact with enterprise data.
The new solution enables organizations to assess and mitigate risks associated with AI agents built on Salesforce Agentforce, ensuring secure and compliant data usage.
“AI agents are new forms of identity that can process and analyze data at lightning speed,” said David Bass, Executive Vice President of Engineering and CTO at Varonis. “We’re giving customers a unified view into how these agents interact with sensitive data — and the ability to automatically right-size their permissions.”
Businesses increasingly use Agentforce to build and deploy AI agents for critical business functions. With this release, Varonis links AI agent identities to data sensitivity, permissions, and activity, helping organizations prevent overexposure and maintain compliance.
Key Capabilities:
AI Agent Inventory: Automatically discover and catalog AI agents built on Agentforce, including their topics, actions, and deployment status.
Unified Visibility: Provide a consolidated view of data sensitivity, agent access, and activity logs to identify risk patterns.
Automated Least-Privilege Enforcement: Analyze prompts and responses for sensitive data exposure and policy violations, then automatically adjust permissions to ensure agents operate only within intended boundaries.
Organizations can also request a Varonis Data Risk Assessment to evaluate their Salesforce security posture. Varonis for Agentforce is now available on Salesforce AppExchange.
