Apple is all set to host its biggest software event of the year, Worldwide developer conference (WWDC) at the company's Cupertino based headquarters next month. The company has reportedly registered a new subdomain, genai.apple.com. With the domain coming just weeks ahead of WWDC one would hope that will be related to the new announcements that the tech giant plans to make. The new domain currently however, doesn't lead to a live web page.
Attempts to open the page currently lead to connection timeout messages, suggesting that the subdomain has already been registered but has not yet been configured for its final destination.
The genai.apple.com subdomain reportedly appeared on Apple’s domain name servers just weeks before WWDC 2026, where the company has already promised to unveil new “AI advancements” across its software platforms.
Apple already has a dedicated Apple Intelligence webpage, so it remains unclear what exactly the new Gen AI domain will be used for. However, the move strongly suggests that generative AI will be one of the biggest talking points during the event.
Apple’s upcoming software updates, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, are expected to introduce several new Apple Intelligence features.
