Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has launched a new AI-driven short video feed called Vibes. This latest innovation highlights Meta’s growing investment in artificial intelligence and its strategy to compete with TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video platforms.
The Vibes AI video feed will be available starting Thursday on the Meta AI app and the meta.ai website. Users can create AI-generated videos from scratch, remix existing clips, or enhance videos with fresh visuals and background music. This flexibility makes Vibes a powerful tool for content creators, influencers, and businesses aiming to boost digital engagement.
Once created, videos can be shared directly on the Vibes feed or cross-posted seamlessly to Instagram Stories, Facebook Reels, and other social media channels, helping creators reach a wider audience across Meta’s ecosystem.

Meta, which generated nearly $165 billion in revenue last year, has been restructuring its AI efforts under the newly formed Superintelligence Labs division. After challenges with its open-source Llama 4 AI model and key staff exits, Meta is betting big on AI-powered tools like Vibes, image-to-video ad solutions, and AR-powered smart glasses to open new revenue streams.
By integrating artificial intelligence into content creation, Meta hopes Vibes will not only attract everyday users but also serve as a growth engine for brands, advertisers, and digital marketers.
