Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, announced that Wakefit, a digital first, Direct to Consumer (D2C) home and furnishings brand, is leveraging Snowflake to accelerate AI innovation at scale with a unified data and AI platform, reducing manual effort and enabling faster, insight-driven decision-making across the organization. By integrating Snowflake Cortex AI and Snowflake Intelligence, Wakefit has automated critical workflows, enhanced customer service capabilities, and improved operational efficiency.
Wakefit manages the entire value chain for its product range, including design, manufacturing, fulfillment, and customer support, setting it apart from traditional competitors that follow a fragmented approach of sourcing materials from multiple vendors. This allows the company to ensure consistent quality and rapid innovation across its mattresses and growing furniture range. To support its expansion, Wakefit sought a unified platform for data, analytics, and AI that could also ensure robust governance, security, and fast execution. Wakefit's previous system was fragmented, relying on separate workflows and external APIs for AI, which complicated governance and slowed experimentation. This led to longer turnaround times for reports and insights. Further, without unified governance capabilities, the company found it difficult to monitor AI consumption across the organization, and engineering teams struggled to maintain disparate AI pipelines. This led to slower experimentation cycles, hindering Wakefit's ability to bring AI-powered innovations to market quickly.
Wakefit’s adoption of Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud has helped bridge these gaps by enabling them to build and operationalize AI solutions directly where the data resides, without complex orchestration or dependency on external APIs. Wakefit is accelerating AI project delivery by accessing AI services via SQL and native APIs in Snowflake, reducing operational complexity and standardizing AI usage across the organization.
AI fuelling innovations across the business
Wakefit has built a comprehensive suite of AI-driven solutions on Snowflake spanning customer experience, operations, and internal decision-making. The intelligent FAQ chatbot for Zense's innovative sleep product range uses Snowflake Cortex Search to deliver swift answers to customers, reducing wait times and lessening the dependency on customer support teams. Snowflake Intelligence Agents provide role-based natural language analytics that democratize data access across the organization. These agents enable faster insight discovery for sales, marketing, and planning teams while accelerating decision-making through controlled access to curated datasets that maintain governance and security standards.
Wakefit has integrated Snowflake Cortex AI features, including PARSE_DOCUMENT, AI_CLASSIFY, and AI_COMPLETE, creating an automated retail invoice processing system that reduces manual effort and improves accuracy in finance operations. This has helped retail partners benefit from automated invoice reconciliation, reducing disputes and processing delays.
The company has also built a scalable Voice of Customer analysis program using the AI_TRANSCRIBE and AI_COMPLETE features of Snowflake Cortex AI. The program helps generate insights from customer call recordings to drive customer satisfaction and build performance indicators for their various products, enabling prompt resolution of product and service issues.
Today, with access to real-time insights across the organization, Wakefit has transitioned from static dashboards to dynamic, AI-powered operational intelligence. Leadership, sales, and planning teams now leverage real-time data to analyse customer sentiment and demand. At the same time, finance and tech departments have streamlined workflows to reduce manual effort and accelerate project execution. These cross-functional efficiencies have elevated customer delight and purchase rates, driving revenue growth.
