TWID reported strong growth across its platform in 2025, with users redeeming over 5 billion reward points. Users across reward programs integrated with TWID unlocked over ₹100 crore in value, transforming loyalty points from notional benefits into real, everyday purchasing power. Reward points redeemed via credit cards alone contributed to approximately quarter billion dollars in consumer spend across the network. This momentum was mirrored in strong adoption metrics, with the number of users actively redeeming rewards on TWID more than doubling year-on-year.
Food & Grocery emerged as the category delivering the highest savings, with users saving an average 8% of order value, followed by Bill Payments & Utilities (7.8%), E-commerce (7.2%), and Travel (6.9%). The data points to a broader shift in reward redemption behaviour — from occasional, high-ticket usage to everyday spending categories.
“2025 marked a clear shift in how consumers perceive rewards - from something to be saved for later, to something that delivers value instantly,” said Rishi Batra, Co-founder & COO of Twid. “By making rewards instantly relevant and easy to earn and redeem, we are shaping smarter spending habits and setting new benchmarks for loyalty-driven engagement in India’s digital payments landscape.”
In addition, users who redeemed rewards demonstrated a 15%+ uplift in both spend levels and transaction frequency. These users also showed over 30% stronger retention, materially improving customer lifetime value and helping optimize CAC and overall marketing costs for both merchants and issuers.
This growth comes amid India’s rapidly expanding digital payments adoption. Platforms such as Unified Payments Interface (UPI) processed 185.9 billion transactions in FY 2024–25, marking a 41.7% year-on-year jump, and accounted for 84% of all retail digital payment volumes. Low-value, high-frequency spending including groceries, bills, and other everyday needs continues to drive this adoption, reinforcing the role of rewards as a practical layer that enhances spending efficiency rather than just post-purchase incentives.
In October 2025, TWID introduced its UPI-based rewards payment App (both on Android and iOS), enabling users to apply reward points directly at the point of payment - whether through scan-and-pay at physical stores or during online checkout. This allows rewards to be used across a wide network of online and offline merchants and connected issuers, bringing reward redemption closer to everyday payment moments.
As digital payments continue to scale, TWID is increasingly being used as the rewards layer that converts fragmented loyalty balances into usable, everyday value.
