New integration with Anthropic’s Claude enables Tenable One users to gain deeper visibility, enhanced compliance monitoring, and threat detection capabilities across enterprise AI usage environments.
Cyber exposure management company Tenable has introduced new capabilities aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence governance within enterprise environments. The enhancement comes through a new integration with the Claude Compliance API, enabling organizations to monitor and secure usage of AI systems directly within the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform.
The development is designed to address growing enterprise reliance on AI tools such as Claude, where security and compliance teams require visibility equivalent to that of traditional mission-critical applications. By integrating Claude usage data into Tenable One, the company aims to extend exposure management practices to the rapidly expanding AI ecosystem.
Strengthening AI visibility and compliance oversight
With the new integration, organizations gain granular insights into how Claude is being used across their environments. This includes visibility into user interactions, access patterns, and activity logs that can help identify suspicious or potentially malicious behaviour. The system is also designed to support compliance monitoring aligned with internal governance frameworks as well as global regulatory standards such as the EU AI Act.
Tenable stated that the capability allows enterprises to safely adopt Claude Enterprise at scale while maintaining full transparency over user engagement. The integration also helps security teams identify which users and identities are interacting with AI systems and how these interactions may relate to broader exposure risks and potential attack paths within the organization.
The company further emphasized that the solution is now available to all Tenable One customers, enabling immediate adoption without additional deployment complexity. It allows organizations to incorporate AI usage monitoring into existing exposure management workflows, strengthening overall cyber resilience.
Shift toward proactive AI security management
According to Tenable Chief Product Officer Eric Doerr, the rapid evolution of frontier AI models has transformed artificial intelligence from a productivity enhancer into a critical enterprise asset that requires structured governance and oversight. He noted that organizations must adopt proactive security approaches capable of operating at machine speed to manage emerging risks.
Doerr added that the integration with the Claude Compliance API represents a key step in enabling deterministic visibility across AI systems, helping enterprises transition from reactive security models to proactive exposure management strategies.
The enhancement reflects a broader industry shift toward embedding governance and security controls directly into AI platforms as enterprises accelerate adoption of generative AI technologies across business functions.
By extending exposure management into AI environments, Tenable aims to position organizations to better manage compliance risks, safeguard sensitive data, and ensure responsible use of AI tools at scale.
