Acer India has announced the appointment of Link Telecom as its distributor for its Aspire and Veriton series of desktops and Travel Mate series of commercial notebooks in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and the entire North East region. This appointment is, undoubtedly, a significant step for the company to scale up its business in the abovementioned locations.
This association is allied with the company’s ongoing “Outreach programme”, a strategy initiated early last year to increase Acer’s brand presence in the tier-II and -III towns.Â
S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, said, “This association is in our continuing quest to reach out to more geographies, and thus builds on the objectives of our Outreach programme which helps make available Acer's range of product offerings in the tier-II and tier-III towns across the country. As one of the prominent leaders in the Eastern and North Eastern region, Link Telecom will play a vital role in helping us further strengthen our presence in these areas. Through Link Telecom’s strong reach and robust distribution network, our product offerings will be made available to consumers’ at the most remote locations as well.”
Acer will leverage on the strengths of Link Telecom’s established distribution network, to meet the growing demand of desktops and commercial notebooks in these regions. Through 13 regional distributors, Link Telecom will ensure Acer’s product offerings will be made available to its customers across the North-eastern regions.Â
