Acer has launched the new Aspire 3 laptop in India, targeting students, professionals and families seeking a balance of performance, portability and everyday functionality. The laptop was unveiled at the Next@Acer India event held in Delhi on August 10.
Powered by AMD Ryzen processors, the Aspire 3 is designed to handle everyday workloads such as multitasking, productivity applications, online learning, video conferencing and entertainment. Weighing around 1.7 kg, the laptop is also aimed at users who frequently move between home, office and educational environments.
The new model combines a slim design with features intended to support hybrid work and learning. Acer has included a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with its ComfyView technology, which is designed to reduce glare while providing wide viewing angles for extended viewing sessions.
180-degree hinge adds flexibility
The Aspire 3 comes with a 180-degree lay-flat hinge, allowing the display to be positioned flat for sharing content and collaborating with others. The design is intended to provide additional flexibility during group work, presentations and everyday use.
Another notable feature is USB Type-C charging, which allows users to carry a single compact charger for the laptop and other compatible devices. Acer has positioned this as a convenience for users who frequently travel or work across different locations.
Expandable memory and storage
For performance, the Aspire 3 supports up to 16GB of DDR4 memory, with expansion capability up to 32GB. Storage is handled through a PCIe NVMe SSD, expandable up to 1TB, providing faster boot times and quicker access to applications and files.
Integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle everyday visual workloads, while Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity support video calls, streaming and online collaboration.
The laptop also provides a range of ports, including USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, an SD card reader and an audio jack. These connectivity options allow users to attach external displays, storage devices and other peripherals.

Acer is positioning the Aspire 3 as an everyday computing device that combines performance and portability with practical features. The company says the laptop is designed to address the requirements of consumers looking for a dependable PC for work, education and entertainment.

The Acer Aspire 3 with the AMD Ryzen 3 3200U series starts at ₹39,999. It will be available through Acer Exclusive Stores and the Acer online store.
