Airtel expands 3-G Services in Gujarat

Bharti Airtel Ltd. has launched 3-G services for its 66 lakh customers in Gujarat, enabling them to have fast mobile internet access, video streaming, video calling, mobile V, social networking-on-the-go and high-definition gaming. Targeting to offer a seamless 3-G experience, it would introduce soon 3-G tariff plans with personalized data usage limits for customers. The company had so far launched Airtel 3-G services in more than 50 towns across India and now had over three million customers.
The launch of Airtel 3G would also enable the customers to enjoy multimedia services, high-speed mobile broadband, and live TV. Besides, the customers would be able to receive updates on stock market, commodities, food, entertainment, health and utilities. Airtel 3G customers can enjoy the benefits of 3G speeds on their mobile handsets, laptops or tablets. The company has also introduced a first-of-its-kind 'internet usage calculator' available online to help customers analyze their current internet data usage and choose an Airtel 3G plan accordingly, Shivan Bhargava, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Gujarat, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel, said.
