The company has introduced AI-powered planning agents, custom analytics capabilities and 12 pre-built enterprise applications aimed at helping organisations accelerate decision-making, improve agility and embed AI across core business functions.
Anaplan has expanded its artificial intelligence portfolio in India with the launch of new AI-powered planning tools and a suite of pre-configured enterprise applications designed to help organisations make faster and more informed business decisions.
The company announced the availability of Anaplan CoModeler, Custom Analyst and Agent Studio in the Indian market, alongside 12 purpose-built applications covering finance, sales, supply chain, IT and human resources functions. The new offerings are aimed at helping enterprises integrate AI into planning and operational processes while improving decision-making accuracy and speed.
The launch comes as businesses across industries seek to leverage AI not only for productivity gains but also for strategic planning, forecasting and scenario analysis in increasingly complex operating environments.
Expanding AI capabilities for enterprise planning
According to Anaplan, the new solutions combine the conversational capabilities of large language models with a deterministic planning engine that delivers traceable and auditable business calculations. The company says this approach enables organisations to evaluate multiple business scenarios and understand the financial impact of decisions before implementation.
“The mandate to adopt AI across APAC and Indian boardrooms has created a new critical challenge: AI must do more than just retrieve conversational answers it must compute them with absolute mathematical precision and confidence,” said Amit Bagga, Managing Director, APAC, Anaplan. “That is why we’ve architected our platform to be the computational engine that connects every operational choice to its financial outcome. This gives our customers the ability to see the full impact of a decision before they make it, allowing them to bypass the noise, respond to market volatility faster, and capitalize on opportunities others cannot see.”
Among the newly introduced capabilities is Anaplan CoModeler, an AI-driven assistant designed for planning architects and model builders. The company has also launched Custom Analyst and Agent Studio, which allow organisations to build and deploy customised AI assistants while maintaining governance and control over enterprise data and processes.
Pre-built applications target key business functions
Alongside its AI innovations, Anaplan unveiled 12 ready-to-deploy applications tailored for specific business functions. These include solutions for project cost planning, profitability analysis, subscription revenue planning, software spend optimisation, trade promotion management, assortment planning, workforce planning and sales forecasting.
The applications are designed to reduce deployment complexity and accelerate time-to-value for organisations looking to modernise planning processes.
“India’s economic engine is driven by massive, diverse enterprises, yet many still rely on a patchwork of disconnected software, paying a heavy ‘silo tax’ on their agility,” said Sanket Deodhar, India Head, Anaplan. “Our new out-of-the-box applications are optimized for the age of AI and designed specifically to accelerate time-to-value. By combining decades of deep functional expertise with computational AI, we are giving Indian CXOs a clear, rapid path to Connected Enterprise Maturity—enabling them to make fast, informed and effective decisions that outpace the competition.”
With the latest launch, Anaplan is reinforcing its focus on helping enterprises embed AI into planning and decision-making processes. The company believes the combination of AI-powered agents, domain-specific applications and connected planning capabilities will enable organisations to respond more effectively to market changes and drive business outcomes at scale.
