Anthropic has introduced a new way to bring its Claude assistant into professional creative workflows, launching a set of connectors that work directly with widely used creative software.
The new integrations allow Claude to interact with platforms such as Ableton Live, Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity Designer, Autodesk Fusion, Blender, Resolume Arena, Resolume Wire, SketchUp, and Splice. By connecting Claude to these tools, users can complete tasks more efficiently without leaving the software they already rely on.
“Today, with a coalition of partners including Blender, Autodesk, Adobe, Ableton, and Splice, we’re releasing a set of connectors—tools that let Claude work alongside the software creative professionals rely on so creatives can extend their reach,” the frontier AI lab said on its official website. According to Anthropic, this could open up new opportunities for creatives to work, enabling them to handle more complex, large-scale projects with greater ease.
Here is how the connectors work across different platforms:
Ableton: Users can query official documentation for Live and Push directly through Claude.
Adobe: Claude can access around 50 tools across apps such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Express to provide in-app assistance.
Affinity: Helps automate repetitive production tasks and can generate custom features for specific creative workflows.
Autodesk Fusion: Subscribers can create and modify 3D models through conversational prompts.
Blender: Adds a natural-language interface to Blender’s Python API, allowing users to analyse and debug scenes, build custom tools, and access documentation.
Resolume Arena and Resolume Wire: Enable natural-language control of live visual performance tools.
SketchUp: Users can describe an idea to generate an initial 3D model, then refine it further within the app.
Splice: Music producers can search and explore its library of royalty-free samples using Claude.
Anthropic has also joined the Blender Development Fund as a corporate patron, backing continued development of the open-source software. At the same time, Blender developers have created an MCP connector that is now officially available for Claude.
The move is part of Anthropic’s broader push into the creative industry. Earlier this month, the company introduced Claude Design in research preview, expanding Claude’s capabilities into visual content generation. The tool allows users to create professional-grade presentations, marketing materials, and one-page documents using simple natural-language prompts.
