Arch Global Services India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group, has officially opened a new technology office in Hyderabad, marking a key milestone in the company’s strategic expansion into India.
The new office, located in the city’s Financial District, will serve as a technology innovation hub supporting Arch Capital’s global insurance, reinsurance, and mortgage insurance businesses. It will initially house about 100 employees, with plans for future expansion as the company scales its operations.
The Hyderabad launch comes as part of a broader India growth plan that includes a second office opening in Trivandrum next week, focused on business services. The twin expansions signal Arch Capital Group’s growing commitment to building a strong talent base and technology ecosystem in India to support its worldwide digital transformation.
“Hyderabad is globally recognized for its deep pool of IT professionals and vibrant tech ecosystem,” said Prashant Nema, Deputy Chief Operations Officer at Arch Capital Group. “By establishing our technology hub here, we are tapping into a world-class workforce that will help drive our digital transformation and deliver cutting-edge solutions for our businesses worldwide.”
The Hyderabad office, led by Raju Chiluvuri, Technology Head at Arch Global Services India, will focus on developing and deploying next-generation technology solutions for Arch Capital’s affiliates across the globe. It will emphasize digital engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and automation, with a goal to strengthen the company’s operational efficiency and product innovation.
The facility’s design reflects Arch’s emphasis on collaboration and innovation, featuring modern workspaces and open areas to foster engagement among employees. The launch event was attended by senior executives and employees of Arch Global Services India and included a ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the company’s integration of tradition with modernity.
The inauguration was graced by Shri V. C. Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, underscoring the significance of Arch’s investment in the local economy. Sajjanar highlighted Hyderabad’s emergence as a preferred destination for multinational corporations setting up technology and financial centers due to its infrastructure, skilled workforce, and pro-business policies.
Speaking about the expansion, Dan Beck, Executive Vice President at Arch Capital Group, said that establishing a stronger presence in India reflects the company’s long-term strategy to blend global expertise with local innovation. “India offers us the perfect combination of talent, scale, and innovation,” he said. “Our new technology hub in Hyderabad is another step toward creating a truly digital-first organization.”
Arch Global Services India’s expansion is part of Arch Capital Group’s continued focus on strengthening its digital infrastructure and operational agility across markets. With the Hyderabad hub positioned as a center for technological excellence, the company aims to enhance its global service delivery capabilities while contributing to India’s growing role as a global technology powerhouse.
