The telecom and networking company, Tejas Networks has announced the elevation of Arnob Roy to the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a term from April 15, 2026 to August 3, 2028. Prior to this, Roy was serving the company as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer.
Roy brings with him an experience of over three decades in the high-technology sector spanning research and development, operations, and sales.
The company has also appointed Preetham Uthaiah as Chief Operating Officer, presently serving as Vice President – Product Management for Wireless Products at Tejas Networks. He has almost 30 years of global experience across engineering, product management, and business development in India and the US.
Before serving Tejas Networks, Uthaiah was associated with Saankhya Labs as Executive Vice President of Product Management, Marketing, and Strategy. He has also held leadership roles at Tech Mahindra across India and the US. He holds an MBA degree from Arizona State University and a degree in Electronics and Communications from Karnatak University.
Tejas Networks has also assigned AVS Prasad as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 16, 2026. Prasad will succeed Sumit Dhingra, who has resigned from the role. At present he holds the position of Finance Controller. Prasad has an experience of 27 years within the Tata Group across telecom, aerostructures, and defence sectors. He has held leadership roles in finance for over 15 years, including positions as CFO and Financial Controller.
A Company Secretary and Cost & Management Accountant, Prasad has expertise in corporate finance, treasury management, regulatory compliance, internal audit, and governance. He has also been involved in startup operations and building scalable finance teams.
