To recognize the outstanding contribution by its partners, Axis Communications has conducted its partner summit 2014 in Dubai. The company invited 54 partners, distributors and consultants who have been the year’s top performers in India and Sri Lanka. The three-day conference and tour held between 29th & 31st October in UAE, Dubai, was a part of Axis’ 30-year celebration of innovation and success. With eight award categories including a Viking award, the winners will have an opportunity to engage in personal, face-to-face meetings with Axis top management. They will also get an opportunity to learn more about Axis’ vision of the future which will help them play an influential role in shaping that future.
Conforming to its view on partnership being the key to mutual success, Axis provided an insight to the partners on how they can evolve in the changing surveillance ecosystem and how Axis would be supporting them in leveraging new market opportunities. During the conference, the company discussed with the partners on how to lead the network video market together. Furthermore, success stories of Middle-East, India business strategy, product innovations and solutions were also discussed during the conference.
Nexgen Integrated Systems Pvt. Ltd was endowed with the Viking award which is given to the outstanding partner who has demonstrated loyalty and channel excellence. Nexgen Integrated Systems topped in terms of overachievement of revenue, training, certification and consistent project management.

The winners had an opportunity to meet with Ms Bodil Sonesson, Axis Vice-President for Global Sales, followed by a city tour of some of the top attractions in Dubai. In addition, the partners were given a chance to experience the famous desert safari adventure that took them through the crest of the high sand dunes, and ended with a traditional Arabic Bedouin campsite visit. The partners also enjoyed Camel Riding, Sand Boarding and henna painting.
