BD Soft focuses on its aggressive roadmap for 2019
BD Software Distribution (BD Soft) has announced an aggressive and ambitious roadmap for its security brands in India, and aims to scale up its business and penetrate new markets.
BD Soft aims at pursuing its growth in the high-end consumer segment, building on the success gained in segments such as government, finance and service providers, for which BD Soft already has a strong base. As a part of the extension, BD soft will undertake a nationwide campaign to bridge connect and establish understanding on how the Cyber/Internet Security Solutions are business-relevant to CISOs and other top-level client executives, and should be in priority. Along with the high-end segments, BD Soft also aims to focus upon the SME and SMB markets.
Zakir Hussain, Director, BD Soft, says, “With a drastic increase in the number of companies, experiencing a data breach or cyber incident, the need for cybersecurity services could not be greater. Currently, we are already handling several World Renowned Cybersecurity Brands in India, and the solutions are such that are required by every big or small company. Overall, the security market is on a growth trajectory which helps BD Soft position their security solutions.”
BD Soft aims to add over 200 partners at over 25 cities in India, in the next three months. In parallel to strengthening its channel network, to accelerate its penetration in the SMB market, the effort will also drive through the recruitment of Gold and Silver partners with key focus on customer service. To undertake the mapped route, BD Soft also has started comprehensive channel training investing in them.
The wide portfolio, expansion of channel network, business focus on new markets and building the regional team emphasizes the larger plan of BD Soft to become a dominant player in the cybersecurity market.
