British Deputy FM Rishi Sunak roped in for a new role

British Deputy Finance Minister and Infosys Co-founder Narayan Murthy’s son-in-law, Rishi Sunak has been roped in by Senior Conservative Party members to run a new economic super ministry, as per a Financial Times report.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to create an enlarged business ministry which would absorb international trade department, as per the report.
Sunak, who has been appointed as Chief Secretary to the Treasury, was elected as a Member of Parliament from Richmond (Yorks) in 2015.
Conservatives close to Johnson said that Sunak’s performance during elections have put him close to promotion.
