CAMB.AI partners with Kompact AI to enable CPU-based multilingual voice AI at enterprise scale
2025-12-17
The strategic alliance combines CAMB.AI’s multilingual voice synthesis capabilities with Kompact AI’s CPU-first runtime, enabling enterprises to deploy high-quality language and voice AI applications without relying on expensive GPU infrastructure.
CAMB.AI has announced a strategic partnership with Kompact AI by Ziroh Labs to simplify enterprise adoption of advanced multilingual voice and language AI. The collaboration brings together CAMB.AI’s voice translation and synthesis models with Kompact AI’s CPU-optimized runtime, allowing large language models to run efficiently on standard server-grade CPUs without compromising performance or output quality.
The partnership aims to remove long-standing infrastructure barriers that have limited AI adoption to organizations with access to costly GPU resources. By enabling high-performance AI workloads on CPUs, the two companies are positioning the solution as a more accessible and scalable alternative for enterprises across industries.
Shifting AI deployments beyond GPUs
Traditionally, enterprises have depended on GPU-heavy infrastructure to deploy AI applications, driving up costs and limiting scalability. Kompact AI’s CPU-first approach challenges this model by delivering optimized inferencing on CPUs, reducing operational costs while preserving full model accuracy. CAMB.AI’s multilingual voice models, including translation and speech synthesis systems, can now be deployed without specialized hardware or cloud GPU dependence.
According to CAMB.AI Co-Founder and CTO Akshat Prakash, the collaboration extends the company’s mission of making multilingual communication widely accessible. He said enterprises can now deploy broadcast-quality voice AI on existing CPU infrastructure without choosing between performance and affordability.
Hrishikesh Dewan, Co-Founder and CEO of Ziroh Labs, said the partnership creates new opportunities for organizations to adopt sophisticated AI systems without traditional technical constraints, calling it a major step toward democratizing AI access.
Expanding real-world use cases
The integrated solution enables real-time multilingual voice applications across sectors. Sports broadcasters can deploy on-premise translation systems for live commentary. Healthcare providers can run language support tools locally to meet data privacy and compliance requirements. Educational institutions can offer multilingual learning platforms using campus infrastructure, while global enterprises can support real-time translation in meetings and customer service environments.
Designed for scale and efficiency
The platform combines optimized model architectures, intelligent CPU resource allocation, and system-level performance tuning to ensure consistent, scalable deployment. By avoiding quantization or model compression, the solution maintains output quality while lowering energy consumption and reducing dependence on constrained GPU supply chains.
With enterprises increasingly seeking cost-efficient, compliant, and sustainable AI deployments, the CAMB.AI–Kompact AI partnership reflects a broader shift toward flexible, CPU-driven AI infrastructure.
