Canon has introduced yet another model to its Cinema EOS line - the compact, lightweight EOS C100 digital video camera, equipped with automatic functions facilitating solo operations.
Designed for independent videographers, the C100 combines impressive hardware specifications with a range of new automatic features - aking it ideal for professionals who shoot without a crew, or EOS videographers entering the Cinema EOS System for the first time.
Speaking on the launch, Dr. Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice-President, Canon India, said, “With an aim to create new propositions and transform the industry with innovative products, the Canon EOS C100 further establishes our entry in the cinematography imaging business domain.”
With Canon’s Super 35mm 8.3MP Bayer-filtered CMOS sensor at its core, the EOS C100 combines exceptional image quality. The camera’s powerful imaging system enables the same processing as three-chip RGB systems, delivering exceptional colour, wide dynamic range and proven low-light performance, while extensive NLE support makes it suitable for a wide range of users and production purposes.
