CMF’s latest earbuds combine a 12.4mm dynamic driver, up to 35dB Active Noise Cancellation, extended battery life and Nothing X app support, targeting users seeking feature-rich everyday audio at an accessible price.
CMF has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of CMF Buds Neo, positioning the new earbuds as its most accessible entry point into the CMF ecosystem.
The earbuds combine a dual-tone design with a 12.4mm dynamic driver, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), extended battery life and integration with the Nothing X app. The company is targeting consumers looking for everyday audio features without a complex setup.
CMF Buds Neo will be offered in Black, White and Dark Blue colour options. It will be available at an introductory price of ₹1,999 from August 26, 2026, through Flipkart and retail partners including Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.

Larger driver and personalised sound
The Buds Neo features a 12.4mm dynamic driver designed to produce stronger bass while retaining vocal clarity and detail. A titanium-coated PET dome is paired with a PEEK and PU surround to provide flexibility for the driver.
The earbuds also support static spatial audio, creating a wider sound field for compatible content such as movies and concert recordings. Users can select from six professionally tuned EQ presets covering genres and listening preferences including Pop, Rock, Electronic, Classical and Enhance Vocals.
For additional customisation, the Nothing X app allows users to create their own EQ profile. A Bass Enhancement feature provides two additional bass levels, with users able to select 50% or 100% enhancement, or turn the feature off.
The earbuds also offer up to 35dB of Active Noise Cancellation, with three levels available. Adaptive ANC can automatically adjust noise cancellation based on changes in the surrounding environment.
For voice calls, four HD microphones—two on each earbud—work with CMF’s Clear Voice Technology to improve voice clarity, particularly when users are outdoors or moving.
Up to 52 hours of playback
CMF Buds Neo is designed to provide extended listening between charges. With ANC switched off, the earbuds offer up to 52 hours of total playback, while each earbud can deliver up to 11 hours of music playback.
With ANC enabled, total playback is rated at up to 30 hours. A 10-minute quick charge can provide up to 5.5 hours of playback, while the earbuds feature 45mAh batteries each and the charging case houses a 460mAh battery.
The case takes approximately 70 minutes to fully charge through its USB-C port.
Nothing X app adds connectivity features
Through the Nothing X app, users can access features such as ultra-low-latency gaming mode, personalised touch controls, dual-device connectivity and sound presets.
The earbuds support a 120ms Low Latency Mode, which can be manually enabled through the app for gaming. Touch controls can also be customised for functions including track navigation, call rejection, ANC and Transparency modes, and volume adjustment.
Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair are supported for easier pairing with compatible devices. Bluetooth 6.0 provides wireless connectivity, while compatibility extends to Android 6.0 and above and iOS 13 and above.
CMF Buds Neo will go on sale in India from August 26, 2026, at a launch price of ₹1,999 through Flipkart and leading retail outlets, including Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.
