COMPUTEX 2018 to focus on AI, IoT and 5G

With the signing of the ‘Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement’ and the ‘Custom Mutual Assistance Agreement’ in 2011, the association between India and Taiwan has improved in past few years. The relation between the two countries has reached a new peak of joint collaboration and mutual economic symbiosis. Economic cooperation in areas of trade, investment and industry has also become increasingly close in recent years.
This year’s edition of COMPUTEX, SMART ASIA India and TAIWAN EXCELLENCE will be announced on March 6th 2018 at Hotel Lalit in Delhi. The conference will be inaugurated by James Juo, Deputy Executive Director of the Exhibition Department at TAITRA, Champak Raj Gurjar, President of the Federation of India’s IT Association. Representatives of COMPUTEX, SMART ASIA India & TAIWAN EXCELLENCE will also be present in the conference.
The theme of COMPUTEX 2018 will focus on AI, IoT Applications, 5G, Blockchain, Innovations & Startups, and Gaming & VR. It will also highlight two exhibition areas: “SmarTEX” – Showcasing the latest IoT applications and “InnoVEX” – a matchmaking platform for global startups to meet global investors and manufacturing partners.
It is expected that more than 1,600 exhibitors from India and abroad will be visiting COMPUTEX 2018 and it is set to mark a more substantial benchmark with an estimated 40,000 international visitors who will explore more than 5,000 booths for latest products and technologies.
