Dahua intros PoC technology into HDCVI products
By VARINDIA - 2017-11-24
Dahua Technology announced that it has introduced PoC technology into HDCVI products and solutions which simplifies installation and reduces cost. Dahua’s HDCVI technology always manages to bring added values to the users, higher resolution, easier operation, etc. This time, it brings simplicity by introducing PoC technology into its HDCVI products and solutions.
Power over Coax (PoC) transmits both video and electrical power over a single coaxial cable, eliminates separate camera power supplies and further simplifies system deployment with true Plug & Play, benefiting Dahua customers and end users.
For installers, now that the complex power supply designing and heavy installation work are eliminated, the time and labor cost will be remarkably reduced. HDCVI PoC system is also great in stability, as it provides constant power supply to cameras, saving the cost for future maintenance. Besides, HDCVI provides PoC cameras with power outputs which power nearby devices, further facilitating installation.
For distributors or system integrators, the top-notch 400-meter/300-meter transmission distance for 2 Megepixel/4 Megapixel cameras of HDCVI PoC bring more project opportunities to them.
For end users, they will find the system extremely easy to use. True ‘plug and play’ means there’s no configuration needed for camera connection whatsoever and power is available immediately. Operational safety is enhanced with auto device identification and quick power-off strategy. When connected with unsupported devices or suffering short-circuits, the system immediately cuts off the power supply.
