Dell launches AI-ready Pro Precision workstations, introduces Deskside Agentic AI in India
The new Dell Pro Precision portfolio brings AI-ready mobile and tower workstations for enterprise users, while Dell Deskside Agentic AI enables organizations to deploy and scale agentic AI workloads locally with enhanced security, lower costs and improved data sovereignty.
Dell Technologies has expanded its workstation portfolio in India with the launch of the new Dell Pro Precision lineup, introducing a range of AI-ready mobile and tower workstations designed for professionals handling compute-intensive workloads. Alongside the hardware launch, the company unveiled Dell Deskside Agentic AI, a solution that enables organizations to deploy, manage and scale agentic AI workloads locally rather than relying solely on cloud infrastructure.
The new portfolio comprises the Dell Pro Precision 5 Series (14S, 16S), Dell Pro Precision 5 Series (14, 16), Dell Pro Precision 7 Series (14, 16) and the Dell Pro Precision 7 T1. The systems target engineers, architects, designers, creators and other professional users requiring high-performance computing for AI applications, simulations, visualization and rendering.
Dell targets growing enterprise AI adoption
According to Dell, increasing investments in AI applications, engineering software and data-intensive workflows are driving demand for dedicated workstation platforms.
The company cited findings from an IDC InfoBrief commissioned by Dell Technologies and Intel, which revealed that 95% of organizations surveyed across Asia-Pacific expect workstations to play an important role in AI initiatives over the next two years. In India, 95% of respondents reported improved productivity among workstation users, while 76% expect workstations to account for a larger share of enterprise PC deployments within five years. The study also found that organizations increasingly use workstations for AI deployment and data preparation.

AI-focused workstations for different professional needs
The Dell Pro Precision 5 Series 14S and 16S introduce Dell's lightest and thinnest workstation design, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors with professional graphics. These systems feature up to 64GB of LPCAMM2 memory and are certified for leading independent software vendor (ISV) applications, while also supporting AI inferencing workloads.
The Dell Pro Precision 5 Series 14 and 16 models are aimed at professionals seeking higher AI performance, combining Intel Core Ultra processors with dedicated neural processing units (NPUs), optional NVIDIA RTX Blackwell graphics, high-speed memory and PCIe Gen5 storage.
For more demanding workloads, Dell introduced the Pro Precision 7 Series. The 14-inch model focuses on portability with support for NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics, while the 16-inch version offers higher-performance Intel Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA RTX PRO 3000 Blackwell graphics, up to 64GB memory and as much as 8TB of Gen5 storage for AI development, simulation and visualization.
Dell also launched the Pro Precision 7 T1 workstation featuring Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with built-in NPUs to accelerate AI-powered applications and machine learning workloads.
Local deployment for enterprise agentic AI
A key announcement at the launch was Dell Deskside Agentic AI, an integrated solution combining Dell Pro Precision tower workstations, AI accelerators, NVIDIA NemoClaw open-source reference stack, CrowdStrike security and Dell Services.
The platform is designed to enable organizations to deploy agentic AI workloads on-premises, addressing concerns around cloud costs, latency and data sovereignty. Dell said the solution supports open-weight AI models ranging from 30 billion to 284 billion parameters and is suitable for workloads such as coding assistants, research agents and private AI assistants for regulated industries.
The offering includes Dell Pro Max with GB10 for smaller AI deployments and Dell Pro Max with GB300, powered by NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip, for large-scale inference workloads supporting models of up to one trillion parameters. Dell claims organizations can reduce AI infrastructure spending by up to 87% over two years compared with cloud API-based deployments.
Enterprise security and sustainability
Across the portfolio, Dell has integrated enterprise security capabilities including TPM 2.0, ControlVault 3 Plus Advanced Authentication with FIPS 140-3 certification, BIOS-level protection and AI-driven threat detection through Dell Trusted Workspaces.
The systems also incorporate recycled materials and sustainable packaging, with select models carrying EPEAT Gold Climate+ designation and ENERGY STAR certification.
Pricing and availability
The Dell Pro Precision 5 Series is available in India starting at ₹1,49,000, while the Dell Pro Precision 7 Series starts at ₹2,25,000. The Dell Pro Precision 7 T1 is priced from ₹89,000.
The Dell Pro Max with GB10 starts at ₹4,99,000 and is available immediately, while the Dell Pro Precision 5 Series 14S and 16S will be available from August 10, 2026. Dell Pro Max with GB300 is expected to launch later this year. Dell Deskside Agentic AI is available immediately for enterprise customers.
