For the second time in Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), Dell Technologies honoured its channel marketers at its partner marketing summit, ‘SPARK’. Held from 22 to 25 July, the three-day event welcomed 148 delegates from 19 countries in Melbourne, Australia. It comprised a dynamic line-up of regional industry figures as well as channel marketing partners, to share best practices in marketing excellence in the industry.
Through a series of keynote and breakout sessions, challenger workshops, partner exchanges and inspirational talks, Dell Technologies created a platform for partners to exchange ideas for marketing success. Attendees discovered the importance of leveraging brand purpose to grow their businesses, hearing from Karinne Brannigan, Senior Vice President of Marketing, APJ, Dell Technologies, on “The Value is In The Seams, Not the Silos”. Guest speaker, Paralympian Dr. Jessica Gallagher, delivered an inspiring speech “Are. You. Ready? Success – Trust – Mindset – Courage”, sharing her journey to become an Australian medallist at the Paralympic games, and how her strategy for winning involves a positive mindset, trust and courage.
“Following the success of SPARK last year, we are very excited to bring this important sharing session back to APJ,” said Karinne Brannigan, Senior Vice President of Marketing, APJ, Dell Technologies. “Our channel partners play a pivotal role in enabling our success and we hope to do the same for them through SPARK. It also enables us to gain an even deeper understanding of our partners’ priorities - we heard great feedback during the Partner Xchange sessions and will continue to empower our partners with the knowledge, tools and information they need to thrive.”
“This year, we saw more than a 25% increase in partner attendees across Solution Providers, Distributors, System Integrators and Cloud Service providers, as well as twice the number of attendees carrying a Marketing title compared to last year,” said Sudip Saha, Senior Director, APJ Partner Marketing, Dell Technologies. “These encouraging statistics are reflective of the importance of marketing to drive success for our partners. We’re committed to supporting and empowering them with the latest marketing philosophies, tools and methodologies to become marketers of the future.”
SPARK Partner Marketing Summit 2019 also recognised the best channel marketing strategies at its gala dinner and awards night. This year, the regional winners were awarded in four categories -
