Launched at the India AI Impact Summit, the next-generation low-code platform enables enterprises to rapidly build and deploy AI applications and agents at scale, while retaining full control over data, intellectual property and infrastructure environments.
Amid growing concerns around data security in artificial intelligence adoption, Deloitte on Friday introduced GenW.AI, an indigenous low-code platform aimed at helping enterprises prototype and scale AI-driven applications with greater speed and control.
The platform was unveiled at the India AI Impact Summit, where Romal Shetty, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte South Asia, acknowledged that enterprises remain cautious about safeguarding sensitive information. He emphasised that AI development should not remain concentrated within a few global markets, adding that affordability and accessibility are critical for broader adoption. Shetty noted that solutions can be delivered at significantly lower costs while maintaining global standards.
Built to reflect enterprise workflows
GenW.AI has been designed to align with how organisations function across departments. From IT managed services teams processing ticket workflows to human resources units screening CVs and monitoring fulfilment ratios, the platform integrates automation and intelligence into routine enterprise operations.
Its low-code architecture allows businesses to reduce reliance on extensive coding teams and accelerate development timelines. By enabling faster configuration and deployment of use-case-specific AI agents, the platform seeks to shorten innovation cycles while maintaining operational efficiency.
GenW.AI can be deployed either on-premises or in cloud environments, offering flexibility to organisations with varying compliance and infrastructure needs. Deloitte said this hybrid availability ensures enterprises retain complete ownership of their intellectual property and data, directly addressing one of the primary barriers to AI implementation.
Internal pilots and early client engagements
Before its formal launch, Deloitte tested the platform internally, training nearly 30,000 employees over a six-month period. The firm has also initiated client engagements, including collaborative hackathons with a large banking institution, which reportedly generated more than 160 potential AI use cases.
With GenW.AI, Deloitte aims to provide enterprises with a secure, scalable framework to integrate AI into business processes without compromising governance or data protection standards.
