Edimax unveils Network Camera with Plug-n-View Technology

Designed for easy home monitoring, Edimax has launched a Wireless Network Camera – IC3115W. The camera is equipped with a wide 1.7mm (28mm equiv.) lens and viewing angle of 74.8 degrees, meaning a single camera can cover wide areas of the home.
 
It has a 1.3mega pixel CMOS sensor and can capture SXVGA (1280 x 960) videos at 30 frames per second, and features a multi-area motion detection system. Upon detecting motion, the network camera immediately takes a snapshot and sends it to the user via e-mail or FTP. The IC-3115W comes with free 16-channel viewing software for PC, where users can access, view and manage up to 16 network cameras simultaneously. Manual, cycled and scheduled video recording functions are all supported, ensuring that the IC-3115W can be used for any and every surveillance application.
