According to market buzz, Etilasat has decided to lay off its India operations after the 2G telecom licences to its joint venture, Etisalat DB (of DB Realty) were called off by the Supreme Court.
The decision is adhered to affect existing customers who will have 30-days time to transfer to another network. The Company is also believed to seek refund from the Department of Telecom (DoT).
