Evernote has updated both its sketching and annotation app Skitch and the standard Evernote app for Android. Evernote has announced the addition of new features for its Android users to make it ideal for busy business users on the go. The app has been enhanced with attached Office documents, PDFs annotations and quick reminders. Evernote is also improved with Evernote Widget.
Evernote for Android has been integrated with an app created by MobiSystems, OfficeSuite, to help people create and share Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on Google’s mobile operating system. With this, users can view their original documents in Evernote and then instantly open them in OfficeSuite by tapping the edit button. Any changes required will then be replicated automatically back in Evernote.
The Skitch 2.5 for Android has been added with three new features – PDF Annotation, Annotation Summaries, and Stamps to give premium subscribers the ability to annotate PDF files. This update makes it easy to open PDFs in Skitch, mark them up to communicate changes or questions, and send them off to get the job done perfectly.
The updated versions of both Evernote and Skitch for Android are available in the Google Play store.
