The latest AI Readiness Index reveals that while artificial intelligence is driving tangible results globally, most organizations are struggling to scale beyond pilot projects.
Only 18% of surveyed companies have finalized AI use cases, compared to 77% among the most AI-ready enterprises—who are also 50% more likely to realize measurable value from their initiatives.
Despite these challenges, ambition remains high.
Nearly 83% of organizations plan to deploy AI agents, and around 70% have made AI a top IT budget priority.
However, significant barriers persist.
More than half (54%) report that their current networks cannot scale for AI workloads, only 26% have sufficient GPUs to support intensive computing needs, and just 31% feel confident in their AI security posture.
The findings capture a defining moment in the evolution of AI adoption: organizations recognize the promise of AI but are constrained by infrastructure, security, and scalability gaps.
Building trusted partnerships—combining technological innovation with robust governance—will be essential to bridge this divide.
As AI reshapes industries and economies, readiness, reliability, and trust will determine who leads in the next wave of intelligent transformation.
