Users in India are reporting not being able to log into Gmail accounts and the Downdetector shows that there was a surge in complaints starting at around 4:30 pm yesterday.
The live outage map shows that the majority of complaints of being unable to login into Gmail are coming from India.
Google's email service Gmail went down for several users in India on Wednesday with many taking to Twitter to complain that they are unable to access Gmail while working from home. Gmail has acknowledged the problem and is working on a fix but has not issued a statement on why Gmail is down.
