Google adds new Google Pay services and improves AI search in India

Google has improved its AI search tool in India to make it more user-friendly. For better comprehension, the search now contains more visual content, including pictures and videos.

To improve the payment experience, Google Pay has also included new services including personal loans and credit lines. Indian users' search and payment experiences are intended to be enhanced by these changes. 

The new services, including: offerings in India with the introduction of

1. UPI Lite: A simplified version of UPI for small-value transactions, enabling faster and more convenient payments for everyday needs.

2. Bill Split: A feature that allows users to split bills with friends and family, making it easier to share expenses and settle group payments.

3. Tokenized Cards: A secure way to store credit and debit card information on Google Pay, enabling seamless payments without sharing card details with merchants.

4. Tap-to-Pay: A contactless payment method that allows users to make payments by simply tapping their NFC-enabled smartphone on a compatible payment terminal.

Improved AI Search

Google has also enhanced its AI search capabilities in India, focusing on providing more relevant and localized results for Indian users. These improvements include:

1. Multilingual Search: Support for searching in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Gujarati.
