The new facility will showcase AI-powered building management solutions under Hitachi's HMAX for Buildings portfolio, while serving as a collaboration hub to accelerate digital innovation, sustainability and intelligent infrastructure development in India and beyond.
Hitachi Ltd., in collaboration with Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. and GlobalLogic Inc., has inaugurated the BuilMirai Experience Center at GlobalLogic's headquarters in Noida. The new facility is designed to serve as an innovation and customer engagement hub for BuilMirai, Hitachi's digital building management service, aimed at supporting the development of intelligent, connected buildings.
The Experience Center is built around HMAX for Buildings, Hitachi's next-generation building solutions portfolio that combines data from digitalized building assets, industry expertise and artificial intelligence. Through interactive demonstrations, the facility will showcase how smart building technologies can help organizations improve energy efficiency, sustainability, operational visibility, occupant wellbeing and overall infrastructure performance through a unified management platform.
Beyond customer demonstrations, the center will also function as a collaborative space where engineering teams, customers, partners and industry stakeholders can jointly contribute to the continuous enhancement of the BuilMirai platform. While GlobalLogic is responsible for the platform's digital engineering, Hitachi Lift India will provide local operational expertise and elevator system services. Insights generated through these collaborations will support the further development and global expansion of the BuilMirai platform.

India positioned as a strategic hub for smart building solutions
The company said the launch comes at a time when India's rapid urbanization and economic growth are driving increased demand for smart, energy-efficient building technologies across commercial establishments, office complexes and infrastructure projects.
Hitachi believes the Experience Center will strengthen its global building solutions business while positioning India as an important base for innovation and deployment of intelligent infrastructure technologies. The initiative also aligns with the company's One Hitachi strategy to integrate information technology (IT), operational technology (OT) and products for smarter, safer and more sustainable built environments.
The BuilMirai Experience Center was inaugurated on June 18 in the presence of senior executives from Hitachi, Hitachi Lift India and GlobalLogic, including Noriharu Amiya, CEO of Connective Industries Sector, Hitachi; Takeshi Yamamoto, Head of Building Systems Solutions & Services Business Management Division; Piyush Jha, Group Vice President and Head, APAC, GlobalLogic; Ankit Mittal, Associate Vice President, GlobalLogic; Masaya Sakakibara, Chairman, Hitachi Lift India; and Manish Sikka, Managing Director, Hitachi Lift India.
