HPE has unveiled new GreenLake capabilities spanning agentic AI operations, private cloud management and AI infrastructure software, aiming to help enterprises simplify hybrid IT environments, reduce virtualization costs and accelerate AI adoption.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a broad set of enhancements to its GreenLake platform, introducing new artificial intelligence-powered operational capabilities, expanded private cloud offerings, and software innovations designed to support enterprises navigating increasingly complex hybrid and AI-driven environments.
The latest updates are intended to help organizations manage AI infrastructure, modernize cloud operations, and address rising virtualization costs through a unified operating model that spans on-premises, cloud and edge environments.
“As enterprises scale AI, they need a simpler way to govern AI infrastructure and modernize operations across hybrid environments without fragmentation or unpredictable costs,” said Fidelma Russo, EVP, President and GM, Hybrid Cloud and CTO at HPE. “The latest advancements in GreenLake give enterprises a proven, unified path for agentic hybrid operations today and foundation for future autonomous operations.”
GreenLake introduces agentic AI-powered operations
At the center of the announcement is GreenLake Intelligence, HPE’s new agentic AI framework designed to streamline hybrid cloud and AI operations. The platform provides centralized governance, orchestration and management capabilities that enable enterprises to coordinate AI agents across infrastructure, applications and operational workflows.
HPE also unveiled enhancements to its OpsRamp platform through the new Operations Copilot. The solution delivers deeper observability into AI environments, allowing organizations to monitor AI utilization, track token-based consumption, manage costs, and identify issues through AI-assisted root-cause analysis.
In a move to advance autonomous IT operations, HPE is partnering with ServiceNow to integrate GreenLake Intelligence with ServiceNow’s AI-driven service management capabilities. The collaboration aims to provide enterprises with end-to-end visibility and automated service delivery across AI infrastructure and hybrid IT environments.
The company also expanded the capabilities of HPE Morpheus Software, positioning it as an alternative virtualization platform for enterprises seeking greater operational flexibility. New additions include the Morpheus Orchestration Copilot, centralized multi-site management through Morpheus Central, software-defined networking, intent-based network automation, stretched-cluster resilience and migration support from VMware environments through HPE Zerto.
Private cloud, partner ecosystem receive major upgrades
HPE further announced plans to deepen its collaboration with Citrix, focusing initially on delivering Citrix Desktop-as-a-Service on GreenLake for customers requiring on-premises and sovereign cloud deployments. The companies also plan tighter integration between Citrix solutions and HPE Morpheus Software.
To support organizations migrating from existing virtualization platforms, HPE introduced new incentives for partners and customers, including software licensing benefits, migration support and financing options through HPE Financial Services.
The company also expanded its HPE CloudOps Software portfolio for cloud service providers, enabling them to build and monetize private cloud offerings with multi-tenancy, automation, governance and cost-management capabilities.
On the infrastructure side, HPE enhanced its Private Cloud portfolio with a unified control plane built on Morpheus Software and new air-gapped deployment options for highly regulated environments. Updates to the PC3000 and PC7000 platforms include VMware vSphere 9 validation, automated operations, infrastructure-as-code support and readiness for advanced security compliance requirements.
Several of the newly announced capabilities are available immediately, while additional integrations and platform enhancements are scheduled for rollout through 2026 and 2027 as HPE continues to expand GreenLake’s role in AI-powered enterprise operations.
