Infosys has deepened its partnership with Telstra by becoming a strategic technology partner for Telstra International, the global business arm of Australia's leading telecom and tech company. The collaboration aims to support Telstra’s “Connected Future 30” strategy by driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience.
Under the expanded partnership, Infosys will adopt an AI-first approach to modernize Telstra International’s core systems and processes. This transformation is expected to streamline operations, boost agility, and improve the delivery of intelligent and responsive digital services across global markets.
Driving AI-led telecom transformation
Chris Ellis, Head of IT, Software Engineering & IT at Telstra, emphasized the strategic importance of the collaboration. “Our expanded collaboration with Infosys is pivotal to delivering greater value for our customers and shareholders as we evolve into a software-centric, AI-first connectivity company,” he said. Ellis added that Infosys will play a key role in scaling and accelerating digital experiences through modern software engineering.
Telstra International CEO Roary Stasko highlighted the broader vision behind the initiative. “We are strengthening our core connectivity capabilities and transforming our operations to deliver smarter, more agile services,” he noted. “This partnership ensures we stay ahead of technological shifts and continue delivering exceptional experiences globally.”
