With a vision to becoming a leading technology enabler in the Data Security, Storage and Networking space, iValue commenced its operations in May 2008. iValue InfoSolutions has been established by Sunil Pillai and his team of 40 members, who created the largest value-added distribution for data protection solutions in India.

iValue InfoSolutions has propounded a revolutionary distribution model based on the maturity levels of technology solutions. Sunil Pillai, Co-Founder & COO of iValue InfoSolutions, said,–“Many a company in the IT distribution and integration services space use single approach strategy for all offerings, from emerging to

matured, which causes major inefficiencies and hence fail to deliver enhanced value to its stakeholders. iValue looks at its offerings, from the standpoint of maximizing value of the technology investments of organizations, and hence adopts a three-pronged strategy, namely Value Added Distribution (VAD), Value Maximizing Services (VMS) and Value Added Services (VAS).”

VAD focusses on high-demand products/solutions in the market, and aims to enhance the efficiency of logistics and order fulfilment along with channel development in newer geographies and emerging markets. VMS focusses on niche/emerging solutions in the market and implements effective positioning and extensive market development activities at the end-customer level that drives demand back through the channel partners. Implementing a channel partner support service model approach, VAS offers training, consulting, integration and implementation services, which enable the transformation of technology investments into business results.

“Manpower is our biggest strength as all 40 employees are well-versed with the market and we have received positive response from the channel fraternity bagging a few high- profile orders,” adds Pillai. The company has two private investors along with the funding from a Singapore-based value-added distribution company called E-Guardian. According to Pillai, iValue has enough funds to invest for the next two years in India.

Headquartered in Bangalore, the company currently has six branch offices across India and an international office in Singapore. Indian offices are situated in cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune. Currently, iValue has a strength of 43-plus employees and plans to increase its headcount to 62 by the end of this year.

iValue currently has 380-plus channel partners and aims to add 100 more partners by the end of this year. “We wish to address all the emerging segments of the Indian market. To further our reach, iValue will also target opportunities in tier-II cities,” adds Pillai.
