JAINHITS has attracted a large number of local cable operators (LCO) from across Goa and the coastal areas of Karnataka at its first-ever meet at the International Centre here. The satellite-based solution for digitization of cable service was an instant hit with the operators.
It offers high-quality and cost-effective solutions to LCO for running fully DAS-compliant Digital Cable TV services to its subscriber. It also offers high-speed broadband service, multi-screen, and many more value-added services along with consumer products such as cloud broadband, hybrid broadband TV (HBB TV), etc. Currently, JAINHITS offers 250 channels, including all the major pay TV and soon full HD and multi-screen service shall be available to consumers.
Rakesh Gupta, Head – Products & Strategy, JAINHITS, shared, “JAINHITS is the only platform in the country which offers complete ownership to even the smallest LCO by making him a ‘Leader & Cable Owner’ and an ‘Independent Service Operator’ (ISO) and bring their active participation in the Digitization Process. We already have 3 ISOs in Goa, which will serve more than 5,000 subscribers soon.”
JAINHITS has partnered with Motorola (now ARRIS) and Intelsat. The key proposition of the JAINHITS platform is conversion of LCO as MSO with very minimum cost and providing all end- to-end solution for Digital cable and Broadband services. With this, JAINHITS is all set to install over 3,000 Mini Downlink Headend’s across the 640 districts of India by the end of 2014.
