LG expands tie-up with Qualcomm to power Its G Series Smartphone

With an expansion to the partnership between LG Electronics and Qualcomm Technologies, it has been announced that LG Optimus smartphone will be utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor to power its G series devices and to redefine the smartphone experience through performance rich graphics and good battery efficiency.

By integrating the Qualcomm processor, the LG G series smartphones will get video capture, playback and display in the Ultra-HD format. It will help to increase data speeds and reduce latency.
