Packed with AI innovation, the Motorola Razr 60 enables Gemini on the cover screen, auto-summarises alerts, translates live conversations, turns text into stickers, and generates playlists tailored to the user’s emotional state
Motorola has now come up with its latest foldable smartphone, the Razr 60, in the Indian market, priced at ₹49,999. This new clamshell-style device blends premium design with AI-driven features and is set to be available from June 4 across Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Motorola’s official website.
Specifications and platform
The Razr 60 features a 6.9-inch pOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth interactions. Complementing it is a 3.6-inch external cover display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,700 nits, shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Motorola claims the hinge has been tested for over 500,000 folds and the device carries an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance—an uncommon feature in flip-style smartphones.
Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300X chipset, the Razr 60 runs on Hello UI based on Android 15, with promised three years of Android updates and four years of security patches. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Cameras, AI tools and battery
In terms of photography, the device houses a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front camera. The camera suite is enhanced by AI features like Photo Booth, Tent Mode, AI Photo Enhancement, and Video Stabilisation.
Unique to the Razr 60 are its AI-centric tools, including the ability to run Gemini directly on the cover screen, Catch Me Up for summarised notifications, Pay Attention for real-time language translation with speaker recognition, Text to Sticker for creating stickers, and AI Playlist Studio, which curates music based on user mood.
Backing the device is a 4,500mAh battery supporting 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. Connectivity is comprehensive, with support for Wi-Fi 7 and 16 5G bands.
The Motorola Razr 60 is offered in three stylish finishes: Lightest Sky, Gibraltar Sea, and Spring Bud, the latter featuring a vegan leather back.See What’s Next in Tech With the Fast Forward Newsletter
