New mydlink-enabled Cloud Routers offer next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi for the smoothest video streaming, online gaming, and VoIP calls, and also allow parents to view their children’s browsing history or block a child’s wireless device when it is time for homework or bed. mydlink makes it easy to do all these things and more, with support for up to 99 devices per user account.
Tushar Sighat, CEO, D-Link (India), said, “When we launched the mydlink cloud service in 2010, our goal was to take the complexity out of IP cameras and wireless networks. Now with more than one million people using millions of Cloud Cameras, Cloud Routers, and Cloud Storage devices to make life better every day, we are proud to have an extremely popular and one of the most mature services on the market.”
Optionally, mydlink Lite or other mydlink apps can be installed on a smartphone or tablet for remote access, device management, and media streaming any time.
The full suite of mydlink mobile apps, including mydlink Lite for iPhone and iPod Touch and mydlink+ for iPad, are now available on the App Store. The Android versions of both apps can be found on Google Play. Windows Phone apps are expected to be released in October 2013.
