MyOperator buys Ziffy to expand in tier-2, 3 cities

MyOperator, a cloud-based telephone system startup, has taken over cloud communications firm, Ziffy. This takeover is aimed to serve Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India.

As per the company, this acquisition will help MyOperator to enter Indian markets with access to more than 3,500 clients in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

The details of the transaction were not disclosed.

MyOperator said it has witnessed strong growth due to SMB digitization and more businesses shifting towards a remote/hybrid working setup amid the pandemic.

“This acquisition is a well-evaluated move that will lend us a competitive advantage in our target regions, where Ziffy has an extensive market presence and customer base,” said Ankit Jain, CEO & Co-Founder, MyOperator.

MyOperator has clients like LensKart, Razorpay, ITC, Apollo, and others.

“We have demonstrated a track record of providing value-based, priced propositions to our customer base that comprises a majority of SMBs in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. With our forces aligned with MyOperator, I am thrilled about the extended growth possibilities for all our stakeholders,” added Tushar Bhargava, CEO of Ziffy.

Lucknow-based Ziffy offers Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and automated welcome messages to two-way SMS and call recording.
