GOIP Global Services has appointed Rahul Swarup as its new CEO and Managing Director. He succeeds Mr. Anil Mittal who held the position since 1994 and has now taken the role of the company Chairman.
Earlier to this, Rahul Swarup has co-founded at 7Strata, an IT Services company focused on Remote Infrastructure Management Services. He was also the President, Enterprise Business Unit at VSNL. He started his career with ONGC, where he worked for 6 years and was involved in setting up and operating diverse Network infrastructure for the onshore and offshore installations. Subsequently he spent over 10yrs with Citibank in various roles with his last assignment being the Vice President and Head of Citicorp Global Technology Infrastructure reporting to London. Just before joining VSNL, Rahul spent 7 years with Sify, joining them as President-Technology, responsible for setting up the operations and management team and providing strategic direction for the technology group.

Rahul Swarup will oversee entire operations and activities across GOIP Global Services and spearhead growth and business in the domestic and International markets.
