Nikon India opens its Instruments Business Technical Centre in Bengaluru
Nikon India is pleased to announce the inauguration of its Instruments Business Technical Centre in Bengaluru. The facility was inaugurated on 19th June, 2017 by Kazuo Ninomiya – Managing Director, Nikon India; Nakajima Masao, Sr Vice-President, Industrial Metrology Business Unit; Hiroshi Ohseki, Director, Instruments Division, Nikon Singapore; and Akira Muramoto, Vice-President, Instruments Business Unit.
Nikon Instruments Business Unit has its first set-up in Gurugram and this second facility is a significant step to ensure improved regional customer interface in India. The Technical Centre will provide solutions like information sharing, professional services etc. which the industry demands today. Nikon hopes that with this facility customers will have opportunity to understand the performance and benefits of systems and technology Nikon’s instrumentation business has to offer. At this facility, Nikon proposes to encourage and maximize customer interface by undertaking:
* Demonstration
* Sample checking
* Product Training
* Together with customers and distributors identify New Applications areas
* Extend support to small manufacturers by offering measurement trials
* Support & Encourage Product design initiatives by New / Young entrepreneurs and Engineers as a part of Skill development program introduced by the Government of India
The Technology Centre showcases latest measurement and inspection Technology Solution from Nikon portfolio. Highlights of the said Technology exhibit at the Technical Centre are:
* Non-Destructive Testing – Industrial X Ray & CT
* High Precision Non-Contact Laser Scanning
* High-Resolution CNC Vision Metrology
* High-performance Microscopy
