For setting a new benchmark in smartphone imaging, Nokia India has announced availability of Nokia Lumia 1020 in stores across the country. The Lumia 1020 can produce some of the sharpest images using Nokia’s PureView technology and features including a second- generation 41-mega pixel sensor, ZEISS optics with six lenses and optical image stabilization, allowing people to capture, edit and share photos and videos of professional quality.

Available in yellow, white and black, the Nokia Lumia is available at a best buy price of INR49,999/-. Nokia will offer, in association with New India Assurance, a year-long complimentary insurance cover at all leading stores. Consumers will also have the option of purchasing the device with an easy 6-month EMI payment plans through select banks.
The device will have an early-bird offer with complimentary premium apps worth INR1,000/- to give consumers a headstart into the Windows Store, which has over 165,000 apps. Lumia 1020 owners on Vodafone will have access to a pack of 2GB of 3G data per month for two months, at no extra cost. All Nokia Lumia 1020 owners and prospective consumers will also have dedicated support from trained Nokia Lumia 1020 experts on the Nokia Care Line.
