According to the latest update, the Finnish handset maker Nokia has launched one of its most affordable handsets Nokia 105 in the country.
Priced at just Rs.1,249/-, the new Nokia 105 has a 1.4-inch colour display and supports all basic functionalities along with some other highlighting features, including FM radio reception, a speaking clock and flashlight which are fast becoming a favourite among mobile phone users.
Other features, which will further appeal consumers to lay their hands on Nokia 105, include a splash-resistant keypad and a 12.5-hour talk-time along with a 35-day standby time.
T. S. Sridhar, Regional General Manager (South), Nokia India, said, "The handset marks the end of black-and-white screen era in the domestic phone market. The very human and fresh design of Nokia 105 makes it distinct in this price range, and utterly modern despite a traditional form factor."
However, Nokia has not yet revealed the retail availability of this handset.
